Sauce for Tossing: Maple-Bacon Glaze



  • 1/4 cup apple wood smoked thick-cut bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup real maple syrup, grade A
  • 1 cup apple cider dash
  • Kosher salt dash cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp. paprika, ground


Cook the bacon, drain and set aside. In a small saucepan, heat the maple syrup, apple cider, salt, pepper and paprika over medium-high heat until it begins to bubble.  Reduce heat and cook for another four-five minutes. Mix in the bacon and serve.
