Sauce for Tossing: Maple-Bacon Glaze
- 1/4 cup apple wood smoked thick-cut bacon, chopped
- 1 cup real maple syrup, grade A
- 1 cup apple cider dash
- Kosher salt dash cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp. paprika, ground
Cook the bacon, drain and set aside. In a small saucepan, heat the maple syrup, apple cider, salt, pepper and paprika over medium-high heat until it begins to bubble. Reduce heat and cook for another four-five minutes. Mix in the bacon and serve.
