Ole Chicken Sweet Potato Fries



  • 5 oz. Sweet Things® Seasoned RibCut® Fries (Item #L0097)
  • 2.5 oz. Café Rio Chicken
  • 1.5 oz. Tomatillo Dressing
  • 1 green onion finely cut
  • 1 oz. chopped cashews 
Café Rio Chicken
  • 7-8 chicken breasts
  • 12 oz. taco sauce (you can make your own using tomato sauce and a taco seasoning packet)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 20 oz. cola (not diet)
  • Yield:  8 servings
Tomatillo Dressing 
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 chopped and seeded jalapeño
  • 3-4 tomatillos, chopped
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 package buttermilk ranch salad dressing
  • 1 tsp. lime juice
  • Yield:  24 oz.


Sweet Things RibCut Fries should be cooked following the directions on the case, and topped immediately out of the fryer with the chicken, dressing, onions and cashews. Café Rio Chicken (make ahead of time) Season chicken with salt and pepper.  Place chicken breasts in a slow cooker.  Add water to cover half the chicken.  Cook 12 hours on low. After 12 hours, pour out at least half the water and rain off fat.  Add the rest of the ingredients and cook on low another six hours.  It will fall apart when ready. Tomatillo Dressing Blend all ingredients together in blender and chill.  The longer it chills, the thicker it will be.
