Beer Mustard



  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 1/4 cup onion, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. garlic, chopped
  • 24 oz. beer
  • 32 oz. coarse ground mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 - 1 cup mayonnaise


In saucepan, heat butter and sweat onions and garlic. Add beer and bring to a simmer. Simmer until the beer reduces by half. Add in the mustard and crushed red pepper and mix well. Remove from heat. Mix in the mayo to your taste. Add in extra beer to loosen texture if desired.
